Vasilis Sjogren Tzanetopoulos, a master’s graduate of fine art at the Royal Academy of Art in Stockholm. Born and raised in Athens Greece, with a Swedish mother, Vasilis came to mystify his childhood memories from the very north of Sweden and it grew to become a big contrast to his life in the Mediterranean.
This painting interprets abstract memories from running on the many olive fields as a child. The Greek saying ” You spit on the ground and it will grow” symbolizes the fascinating fertile grounds of Greece.
Made of watercolor with chalkboard details. Handmade wooden frame of Merandi wood. Dimensions ca: 70 x 30
