Watercolor and Oil Painting – Blekinge

Vasilis Sjogren Tzanetopoulos, a master’s graduate of fine art at the Royal Academy of Art in Stockholm, made this painting. The painting shows the interior environment of the summer house in Blekinge (Sweden). Developed from the artist’s vivid childhood memories, where he split his childhood between northern and southern Europe.  This painting is part of the series “Sovkupén”(the sleeping pod) and symbolizes the many nights of traveling by train as a child with his mother and little sister, from the most northern parts of Sweden to the south.
